ATI Forest Lite Type II Wildland Fire Hose

The ATI Forest Lite Type II is a single jacket, polyurethane lined lightweight hose intended for use in wildland fire suppression.

Jacket Construction - The jacket is a combination of 100 percent virgin synthetic high tenacity virgin synthetic yarn and spun yarn. The outer jacket is thoroughly impregnated with a polymer compound, yellow in color, to provide superior resistance to chemicals, abrasion and ultra-violet light. Hose is firm in texture, flexible and free from knots, lumps and irregularities. The jacket is treated to be resistant to mildew.

Lining - The Thermoplastic extruded PU interior lining is a single-ply extruded tube and is unaffected by ozone. The finished form is free of pits or other imperfections and has a smooth finish. No reclaimed material used.

Adhesion - The adhesion between the liner and the inside jacket is such that the rate of separation of a 1.5" wide strip cut transversely, is not greater than 1" per minute over a period of ten minutes.
Couplings – Expansion-type hardcoat anodized aluminum meeting U.S. Forestry specifications are standard. NST, NPSH, or Quarter-Turn couplings are available.

Warranty - ATI warranties both the hose and couplings to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year. Upon evaluation, apart from mistreatment that would make it unfit for service, hose found to be defective will be repaired or replaced by ATI at no charge to the fire department.
