The Groves Ready Rack Two Gear Dryer is manufactured with the highest quality materials, and is designed for ease of use and long-lasting durability.

The overall design offers wide flexibility to both warm and dry a wide variety of items in the such as firefighting turnout gear, with a focus on the need to be able to dry items that cannot be dried using a traditional action tumble dryer.

The cabinets are designed for many years of service with easy access to all major components for easy removal and installation of replacement parts, should the unit need to be repaired.

Electronical Touch Control Panel:
The unit features a simple to use touch-sensitive electronic control panel, which is located above the door. The control panel displays and controls temperature and run times. There are a total of five factory preset temperatures which can be selected. The control panel also displays the run time remaining when the unit is in operation.

Temperature Settings:
A simple touch of the temperature pad on the control panel allows a total five preset drying temperature settings, with associated LED light indicators.

The five different drying settings are: Air Only (No Heat), Low (105F), Medium (120F), Normal (130F) & High (150F).

Time Settings:
A simple touch of the HOUR and MIN pads on the control panel allows users to select the run time in 15 minute increments, with a maximum run time setting of 10 hours.

Electrical Configuration:
The unit requires a 120 volt power source, using a single phase 15 Amp breaker. They are shipped with a standard 12 ft. long/3 prong electrical plug that can be plugged into a standard electrical outlet.

The power cord is at the bottom center of the black panel and is 12’ long.

Heating Element:
One 1200 watt 120v heating element delivers heat to the cabinet’s interior. The heating unit’s access & temperature of 150F, with 70F ambient room air temperature. The heating element is mounted to the heater using 20-guage cold rolled steel mounting brackets. The heaters air outlet, also constructed of 20-guage steel, evenly distributes heated air throughout the interior of the cabinet.

Blower Motor:
The blower motor is bolted to the top frame under the unit’s top cover. An axel fan is utilized to blow an approximate mixture of 50% fresh 50% recirculated air across the heating element.

Ventilation:
Ventilation is at the user’s discretion. However, the unit has a 4” diameter opening on the top of the cabinet, if ducted ventilation is desired by the user.

Inducted Air:
There is a 7.5” x 2” opening on the top of the cabinet, located 1 ¾”-3 ¾” from right sidewall and centered from the front to the back of the unit.

Cabinet Construction:
Model FDC2 has a white powder coat finish steel cabinet and door.

*For adequate incoming air & ventilation, it is recommended to have a minimum of 4” of clearance above the top of the cabinet to any ceiling, and at least 2” of clearance from any walls from the back and sides of the cabinet. The minimum suggested enclosed space to install the cabinet within is 71.5” H x 27.5”W x 26.5” D, is the unit will be used in a confined space (with an open front area only, or a door that can be opened during use to allow proper ventilation of air).

Please forward this information to the proper department/people so they are aware of what to do when the shipment arrives.

Due to the size, damages can occur on the inside of the packaging, due to improper handling by the carrier. Please BE AWARE upon arrival that there may be possible damage even if the basic packaging looks to be in good condition.

Please inspect all items & all sides in your shipment before you sign the truck driver’s delivery tablet/receipt. Packaging should be fully opened to view all sides of shipment. You have 30 minutes to do this before extra charges are added as the driver cannot be detained for hours while you raise/use item(s). If the truck driver refuses full inspection, do not sign the delivery tablet/receipt and ask to speak with the local freight terminal manager. Ask them to mark as damaged stating inspection was not allowed or refuse the shipment completely.

If the contents are in good condition, sign and date the driver's delivery tablet/receipt

If the contents/packaging is damaged, WRITE on the delivery tablet/receipt "DAMAGED" and as much detail(s) of actual damage; sign/date.

Accept any undamaged shipments when possible and only refuse damaged packages. The driver should give you a copy of the delivery receipt for your records.

Please contact us for further assistance before the driver leaves. If the shipment is damaged and the delivery receipt has been signed clear without any notation of damage, any possible rights to full payment on the freight claim are void.

The factory will not and cannot pay for freight company damages.
