Yates Gear Ladder Hook Extensions

The Yates Gear Ladder Hook Extension allows the firefighter to attach themselves safely to a ladder rung or tower platform.

Features:

• Overall length of connections measures 20 inches
• Easy to operate double locking snap hooks located at each end of the strap
• Large 2-1/2" opening ladder snap hook is forged from aluminum
• Extra large hook will open to 2-1/2" to accommodate any ladder rung
• Small hook is attached to the users belt or harness D ring
• Lanyard is made of a new type of webbing constructed with a Kevlar interior for strength and a Nomex exterior for wear and durability

Certifications and Requirements

• NFPA limits overall length of lanyard from the surface of the belt or harness to the connection of the inside of the connection device to 24 inches
• New aluminum snap hooks meet 3600 lbf. (15kN) side load gate strength requirements of ANSI Z359.12-2009 standard
• UL Classified to ANSI/ASSE Z359.3, Safety Requirements for Positioning and Travel Restraint Systems, 2007 Edition
